1954 Senate Subcommittee Hearings into Juvenile Delinquency
Ah.... the complete transcript can be found here: http://www.thecomicbooks.com/1954senatetranscripts.html of the famous hearings where Fredrick Wertham put the comic book industry on trial. I got this link from this article: CR Review Special: Bart Beaty On David Hajdu's The Ten-Cent Plague, Part One. I look forward to reading the rest of the parts, as I really want to read this book.

The more reviews I read on this, it seems that Hajdu did a decent job, but that there is certainly more to the story than what is in the Ten Cent Plague. If nothing else, I believe that Hajdu has brought this part of american history to light to a bunch of people who never knew it existed. He may have left out a few facts, but has opened the door to more analysis from other angles by future writer / historians.

Here's part 2 of CR's review: http://www.comicsreporter.com/index.php/cr_review_special_bart_beaty_on_david_hajdus_the_ten_cent_plague_part_two/
